1820 - Tribal migrations in Missouri

        Governor William Clark and Senator Benton work to open the door to the West for the purpose of removing eastern Indians from their ancestral lands, vacating Missouri of its swelling Indian population.   Tensions between whites and Indians are reaching a flash point in Missouri.
